REPAIR, REWINDING, RECONDITIONING OF LT MOTORS, HT MOTORS, AC GENERATORS, DC MOTORS OF ANY MAKE AND TYPE
- Rewinds 3.3kV, 6.6kV, 11kV Squirrel cage and Slip Ring Induction motors up to 1500kW
- Rewinds 415V Squirrel cage and Slip Ring Induction motors up to 1500kW
- Rewinds DC motors up to frame size 710 (1500kW@400 rpm)
- Rewinds Brushless/ slip ring Alternators up to 2 MW
- Squirrel cage rotor re dicasting / bar driving and reconditioning
- Rewinds Lifting Magnets with copper/ Aluminium coils.
- Repair and Refurbishment of commutator
- Shaft replacement, End shell rework, Bearing Housing rework, stamping reconditioning and restacking etc.

Specification for Motor, Generator Rewinding and Repair
- Motor rewinds generally with insulation class F (155 Deg C) and class H insulation (180 Deg C) will be provided for specific requirements.
- Motor rewinds with Dual coated 200 Deg temperature class copper for all range of motors
- Low voltage stator and rotor impregnated with class H varnish
- Windings treated with VPI for Variable Frequency Drive motors and 3.3 kV, 6.6kV, 11kV motors for specific requirement.
- Formed coils for 3.3kV, 6.6kV and 11kV motor stator and DC armature
- End termination with carefully selected cables for proper voltage and current levels.
- HT tinned copper sockets provided for cable termination.
- Rewound rotors/DC armatures are resin glass banded at a specific tension and as per calculated layers.
- Commutator turning, Mica undercutting and beveling for DC armature
- Rotors are dynamically balanced.
- Bearings pre heated with Bearing Heaters before mounting
- Recommended grade of genuine brushes for DC motors, Slip Ring motors and Alternators.
- Broken/damaged rotor shafts replaced with specific grade of steel with due process.
- Worn out/soared shafts filled with metal spray/coating and Bearing housing reconditioning.
